Dear Members,
The QTOA Board will gather with members, guests and commercial partners to celebrate the year that has been at our QTOA Owner’s Christmas celebration at the Gold Coast Turf Club’s Silks Under The Stars race meeting on Friday evening December 19.
The night will provide a great way to say thanks to all our partners and members for their ongoing support as well as taking in a fantastic evening of night racing, live entertainment along with a food and beverage package.
We would love to see as many QTOA financial members there as possible to enjoy the night and we have provided a $30 special members discount for those wishing to attend the event for a price of $160 per person.
We also invite any other owners that aren’t current QTOA members to join us at the event for $190 per person. Any non-members wishing to attend the evening who also want to become a QTOA member, please email CEO Adam Gardini at ceo@qtoa.com.au and he can organise a discounted rate for both an annual membership and a ticket for the night.
Numbers are limited so don’t wait or you might miss out.
The night will provide a great opportunity to farewell 2025 and look ahead to a new year of Racing that kicks off with a bang with the culmination of the Queensland Summer Carnival with the two week Magic Millions carnival on the Gold Coast.
It has already been a wonderful start to the carnival with the Sunshine Coast Turf Club getting things underway on November 22 with a bumper crowd of 4500 and reports of increased wagering turnover year-on-year.
The result augurs well for the remainder of the Summer carnival and we look forward to seeing Queensland shining on the Australian Racing stage.
More information on the summer carnival can be found HERE
Off the track, owners will be busy doing their homework as we gear up for another Magic Millions January Yearling Sale from January 13-18.
The catalogue has been released with 1,221 yearlings to go under the hammer over the course of the six-day sale. CLICK HERE TO VIEW
Whilst there has been a level of uncertainty within the industry with the delay of the State Government’s much anticipated response to the Queensland racing review, we know that the Magic Millions carnival will lift spirits with an enjoyable two-week festival of racing.
